Emergency services are this evening at the scene of a serious road traffic collision in County Roscommon.
The Roscommon Herald understands that a two vehicle collision has occurred on the N61 Roscommon Town to Athlone road between the Hodson Bay turn off and Athlone, near the Hill of Berries, Kiltoom.
Gardai and several ambulances are currently at the scene. Motorists are asked to exercise extreme caution in the area
