Fergal’s ‘Rossie to Aussie’ fundraiser hits 100k mark

Arigna man Fergal Guihen's 23,000km fundraising cycle from Roscommon to Australia has now hit €100,000 in donations for two local charities.

Fergal is on the final leg of his amazing global adventure as he recently touched down in Perth, Australia.

The incredible 'Rossie to Aussie' challenge has taken Fergal through 25 countries and three continents over the last 18 months while raising funds for both the Mayo/Roscommon Hospice Foundation and North West STOP.

His cycle will finish at the famous Opera House in Sydney.

Fergal set out on his mammoth journey with the goal of raising awareness and funds for both charities. 

He has now raised more than €100,000 to date.
