FG confirms four candidates will seek party nomination in Roscommon-Galway

Fine Gael has confirmed that four candidates will contest the party's general election convention for the Roscommon Galway constituency.

This evening, following the closure of nominations this evening, the party said that Dympna Daly-Finn of Arigna, who recently contested the local elections in North Roscommon; Senator Aisling Dolan, who ran for the party in 2020; recently elected Ballinasloe based councillor, Alan Harney; and Cllr John Naughten, who announced today that he would be running for the nomination, would be going forward to the convention.

The Fine Gael convention for the Roscommon-Galway constituency will be held in the Abbey Hotel, Roscommon Town, on September 20th at 7.30 p.m..
