Free electric vehicle maintenance courses in Roscommon

Free accredited electric and hybrid vehicle maintenance training courses will take place next week in Roscommon Town.
In partnership with the Galway Roscommon Education Training Board, Roscommon County Council's climate action team will host the courses on Tuesday, December 2nd and Wednesday, December 3rd at the Enterprise Centre on the Racecourse Road.
The aim of these half-day courses is to provide learners with an introduction to the knowledge of safe working practices and the precautions required to avoid potential injury when near electric/hybrid vehicles.
Accredited by the Institute of the Motor Industry, the course is suitable for non-technical people such as those who have or intend to use an electric/hybrid vehicle. Further training courses in this area will be held in January.
