Funeral details announced for popular Castlerea figure
The late Tommy Bruen.
The funeral details have been announced for popular Castlerea figure, Tommy Bruen, who died in a local road tragedy on Monday evening.
Mr Bruen is predeceased by his beloved wife Mary, parents Nora and Tommy Snr, brothers Eamon, Paddy and John and his sisters Barbara, Mae and Annie.
He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, son Dara; daughters Gráinne (Costello) and Caolinn; adored grandchildren Odhran, Máie, Cian, Kyle and Brandon; great-grandson Roman; daughter-in-law Marie; son-in-law Sean; Caolinn’s partner Noel; sisters-in-law Rita and Patricia; brother-in-law Mick Cormican; nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Mr Bruen will repose at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, Castlerea from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday evening.
Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
