Funeral details announced for the late John O'Mahony
All-Ireland winning manager John O'Mahony.
The funeral details of the late and much loved John O’Mahony have been announced.
The death occurred on July 6th 2024 of Mr O’Mahony, ‘Tower House’, Ballaghaderreen, formerly of Magheraboy, Kilmovee, County Mayo.
Mr O’Mahony was the cherished husband of Gerardine, loving father of Gráinne, Niamh, Rhona, Deirdre and Cliodhna and brother of Dan and Stephen. He will be greatly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, extended family, the GAA community and his many colleagues and friends.
He will be reposing at home in ‘Tower House’, Market Street, Ballaghaderreen (F45 PE02) on Tuesday July 9th (4 - 8pm) and Wednesday July 10th(3 - 6pm). House private at all other times please.
The removal will take place on Wednesday July 10th for prayers at 8 pm in the Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St Nathy, Ballaghaderreen.
The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in the Cathedral on Thursday July 11th at 12pm midday. Burial will follow in Kilcolman Cemetery, Ballaghaderreen.
Funeral Mass will be livestreamed . Family flowers only, please.
