Gardaí seized €383,000 in cash during search operations in Leitrim and Dublin on Tuesday.
Personnel from the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau intercepted two vehicles shortly before 8 p.m. in North Dublin, and also conducted searches of four residential premises in North Dublin and Co Leitrim.
During the course of the operation, €383,000 in cash was recovered along with a money counter and a number of mobile phones.
The operation was carried out as a result of ongoing investigations targeting organised crime activity under Operation Tara.
Two men and two women, all aged in their 30s, were arrested under Section 72 of the Criminal Justice Act 2006.
They are currently detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007, at garda stations in Dublin.
