Gardai from immigration units carry out inspections in County Roscommon

An inter-agency operation was conducted in Ballaghadereen, County Roscommon, on Thursday, April 10th, involving members of An Garda Siochana from the Mayo Roscommon Longford Drugs and Immigration Units, and officials from Revenue.

According to Roscommon Gardai: "Inspections were conducted on a number of business premises to assess compliance with a range of legislation. 

"Enquiries are ongoing in respect of same and action has been instigated in respect of an Immigration offence detected.

"Similar operations will be replicated across the Division."
