Golden girl Lisa wins European title
Lisa O'Rourke is celebrating a European gold medal win this evening.
There were joyous celebrations in Bulgaria this afternoon as Castlerea boxer Lisa O'Rourke claimed an U-23 70kg European title after seeing off the challenge of Darya Letsko.
Lisa boxed for a gold medal at the European U-23 Boxing Championships in Bulgaria on Saturday, after winning her semi-final on Thursday afternoon.
The Castlerea boxer produced another commanding performance inside the ring in Sofia winning over the judges on an unanimous 5-0 scoreline.
