Great support for new Men’s Shed

A new Men’s shed will be established in Gorthaganny following great interest expressed at a recent meeting.
The organisers are inviting those interested in getting the new shed off the ground to come along to a meeting in the Marian Hall in Gorthaganny on Monday night next, April 8th at 9 p.m..
A Men's shed is a community based project, where men can come together to learn, share skills and socialise together.
Anyone from 30 years upwards living around Gorthaganny, Lisacul, Ballinlough, Ballyhaunis, Loughglynn, Tooreen, Kilkelly or indeed anywhere, are invited to get involved.
Typical activities that take place at a Men’s Shed are woodwork/carpentry; arts and crafts; social outings; talks and workshops; health and wellbeing events; walking groups, and singing and playing music.
