Local parish extends best wishes to priest on his departure

The local community of Tulsk has extended its best wishes to parish priest, Fr John Gannon, who said his final Sunday Mass in Tulsk Church last weekend.
Fr John departs to Boyle to become the parish priest there in mid-August and the thoughts and prayers of the Tulsk community are with him.
He replaces Fr Gerry Hanly who is retiring after 28 years of ministry in the North Roscommon town.
Fr John served as parish priest of Tulsk for the past ten years and in that time, he endeared himself to the community in many ways.
The Tulsk parish will now be administered with support from the neighbouring Ballintubber and Ballymoe parishes.
Best wishes are extended to the new priests who will be administering the parish in the coming weeks.
