‘Mad Mick’ tractor run raises €26,600 for two local charities

The ‘Mad Mick’ tractor run marking the 60th birthday of the late Michael Kelly from Borefield, Strokestown raised €26,600, with two local charities the beneficiaries of much-needed funds.
Kiltrustan Heart Safe was recently presented with a cheque for €13,300 at the Silver Eel Bar & Restaurant while Strokestown Community Playground Committee were the recipients of a cheque also in the sum of €13,300.
Mick Kelly was a popular community figure who passed away suddenly on August 23rd last year.
