Man arrested after discovery of woman's body in South Roscommon
A man has been arrested after a woman's body was discovered in South Roscommon on Monday last
Gardaí in Athlone investigating the death of a woman in her 50s, whose body was discovered on lands at Curraghaleen, County Roscommon on Monday last, have made an arrest.
A man, aged in his 30s was arrested this morning on suspicion of murder and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in the Meath/Westmeath Division.
Croatian national, Mirjana Pap, was reported missing from her home in County Westmeath on Saturday, December 28th.
Her body was discovered two days later in a field at Curraghaleen, South Roscommon.
