A man charged with stealing diesel from an Athlone filling station is due to reappear in court next month.
Ian Relihan (28), with an address at Crosskeys, Co Cavan, appeared before Judge Bernadette Owens at Athlone District Court.
He was charged with a number of offences which are alleged to have taken place on December 9, 2025.
Those include driving without insurance, failure to produce insurance and driving without a licence, all on the Old Galway Road, Athlone, and alleged theft of €70.69 worth of diesel from the Grove Filling Station, Baylough, Athlone.
Mr Relihan was remanded on bail and will reappear before the court on February 25, 2026.
