Boyle's Frank Feighan has been named as Minister of State at the Department of Public Expenditure and Infrastructure.

Boyle native and Sligo-Leitrim TD Frank Feighan has been named as Minister of State at the Department of Public Expenditure and Infrastructure.

The move was announced this afternoon as part of a number of Government changes.

Tánaiste Simon Harris who is taking over in Finance  said that as Minister of State at the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, with special responsibility for Public Procurement, Digitalisation and eGovernment,  Deputy Frank Feighan "will lead the agenda on better procurement of public contracts and advancing this government’s digital agenda. I know Frank will bring to this role his many years of experience as a member of both the Dáil and Seanad, and as a Minister of State previously," Mr Harris said.
