New deputy principal appointed to local secondary school

Mr Michael Fallon from Four Roads has been appointed deputy principal at Coláiste Chiaráin.
Colaiste Chiarain in Athlone has announced the appointment of a new deputy principal, Mr Michael Fallon. Michael hails from Four Roads in South Roscommon.
Most recently he has been a teacher of DCG and Construction Studies in Portumna Community School for over 20 years, where he had been actively involved in various extra-curricular activities.
His experience in school leadership and management is extensive, having been appointed as programme coordinator, assistant principal and acting deputy principal in Portumna. Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Michael said: “I am delighted to have been appointed deputy principal of Coláiste Chiaráin and look forward to working closely with the principal, the dedicated staff, enthusiastic students, and the entire school community.”
The board of management, and senior leadership team of Brendan Waldron (principal), Marguerite Quinlan, Louise Judge (deputy principals), the staff and the whole school community are delighted to welcome Michael to Coláiste Chiaráin and look forward to his contribution to the continued success of the school.
