Reports of heavy snow falls in County Roscommon
A road in the north of the county this afternoon.
Heavy snow fall is being reported in parts of the county and motorists are advised to use caution on the roads.
In the Ballaghaderreen, Boyle and Castlerea areas, people are experiencing falls of sleet and snow. Also in the south of the county, sleet/ snow is currently falling.
According to Ireland’s Weather Channel, cars have been abandoned in the Knock area of Mayo due to heavy snow fall.
