Road works in Boyle to last two weeks

Road works in Boyle are scheduled to last for two weeks.
Roscommon County Council said it will be carrying out necessary improvement works, from today Monday May 12th, and that the L5056/ L5055 and the car park at The Crescent, Boyle will be affected.
The council said that the car park area in the Crescent will be resurfaced at night time to avoid closing off parking spaces. A stop/go system will be in place and delays are expected.
In a letter distributed to residents and business owners, the contractor said works will commence Monday May 12th 2025 for approximately 2 weeks. The working hours will be 8am-6pm Monday and Tuesday, and 7pm-7am Thursday and Friday.
“We will work with the residents and business owners to maintain access to their premises at all necessary times,” the contractor said. It also thanked residents and business owners in advance for theirpatience and cooperation for the duration of the works.
