A roof that was ripped off a filling station in Roscommon Town ended up in a residential property at the height of Storm Éowyn.
The roof of the Emo Filling Station on the Athlone Road beside Roscommon University Hospital ended up in a nearby residential property across the road.
It is understood that the debris caused some damage to the property. There were no reports of injuries.
A number of fallen trees have also been reported around Roscommon Town, including at the picturesque Abbey Hotel where main access to the hotel is blocked.
All access to the hotel is via the back entrance lane only, said the hotel in a post on social media.
A number of other businesses and buildings throughout the county have been impacted by the storm, which saw County Roscommon under a Status Red wind warning between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Friday morning.
