Roscommon branch of MS Ireland wellness day

The Roscommon branch of MS Ireland is to hold a wellness day later this weekend.
The event, which will take place at Hannon’s Hotel, Saturday, April 12th, is free to anyone in County Roscommon and the surrounding areas affected by multiple sclerosis. Free head massages are available on the day for anyone who wishes to avail of them.
The branch said it aims to provide an informative morning in a relaxed environment where people can come together, to talk, listen, share and pick up tips to help improve their quality of life.
The event will begin at 10.30 a.m. with a meet and greet where tea and coffee will be served. At 11.00 a.m., guests will be welcomed by Jackie Keogh MS Regional Worker, and this will be followed by a demonstration on exercise tips, relaxation and mindfulness with Lauren Naughten Chartered Physiotherapist MISCP. At 1.00 p.m. there will be a light lunch with the event concluding at 2 p.m..
