Roscommon gardaí renew appeal after five figure sum of money found near store
The money was found almost a month ago.
Roscommon gardaí have renewed their appeal for information as a five figure sum of money found near a local store almost a month ago has yet to be reclaimed.
The substantial amount of cash was found in the vicinity of Dunnes Stores on the Mart Road in Roscommon Town on July 19th last.
The money in excess of five figures is now in the possession of gardaí who are still waiting for the owner to reclaim it.
Sergeant Damian Bartley has issued an appeal to the owner to come forward and emphasised that the matter would be treated in the strictest of confidence.
The owner or anyone with any information that could assist enquiries are asked to contact Roscommon Town Garda station or Sergeant Bartley on 090 6638300.
