Roscommon hotels win at Gold Medal awards

Two Roscommon hotels were celebrating last week after there were declared winners at the Gold Medal Hotel Awards.

Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa was recognised with two awards taking home the Gold Award for ‘Ireland’s Four Star Hotel’ for the second year running, an accolade that recognises excellence in guest experience, service, and overall hospitality standards.

Adding to the celebrations, executive chef Daniel Willimont was honoured with the ‘Ireland’s Chef of the Year’ award, an achievement that highlights his culinary talent, creativity, and dedication to showcasing exceptional cuisine.

Meanwhile in the category of ‘Ireland's Wine Experience’ a bronze medal was awarded to the Hodson Bay Hotel.

The 36th awards were hosted at the Galmont Hotel, Galway.
