Roscommon man to be lead dancer on Riverdance anniversary tour

Ballaghaghaderreen native Ronan Kelly will take up the role of lead dancer for Riverdance’s 30th anniversary tour.
The global Irish dance hit show will celebrate three decades of performances with a special anniversary tour, which comes to the Gaiety Theatre for the summer season.
Ronan is the son of John and Breege Kelly from Castlemore, and brother to Darragh and Amy from Clarke’s Bar on Pound Street.
He has won all major Irish dancing titles, including five World titles and four All-Ireland titles.
The Riverdance show runs in the Gaiety Theatre until September 7th before Ronan and the cast embark on a worldwide tour.
He recently qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Limerick.
