Roscommon music festival nominated for major award
Night and Day Festival takes place again this year at Lough Key Forest Park in June.
Night and Day Festival, set in the scenic surroundings of Lough Key Forest Park in Boyle, has been nominated for a major award.
The boutique festival has been nominated by the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) for Small Music Festival of the Year as part of the Live Music Venue of the Year Awards 2025.
The awards acknowledge the vital contribution to local economies and the significant role Irish venues play in providing a public platform for songwriters, composers and performers.
The awards ceremony takes place at The Sugar Club in Dublin on March 25th.
In a message on social media, the Night and Day Festival said: “Thanks to everyone who has supported us along the way and kept coming back to keep our dream alive!”
According to IMRO, venues were "judged on their ambience, staging, sound/lighting facilities, diversity of music programming, accessibility for people with disabilities, venue staff and management and the work they undertake in promoting the venue and its programme of music events".
This year’s Night and Day festival at Lough Key Forest Park takes place between June 27th and 29th.
The 2025 line-up includes Fionn Regan, Sultans of Ping FC, Hermitage Green, Something Happens, and KerbDog.
