Roscommon owners of popular Athlone pub confirm re-opening date

The Roscommon owners of popular Athlone pub, Peddler Mac's, have confirmed that it will be back open again on Thursday, December 5th.
Owned by brothers Bryan and Kevin O'Gara from Roscommon Town, the town centre pub closed for a number months due to repairs. Broke Boy Pizza, located on the premises, was also closed as a result.
In a statement posted on social media, the owners said the repairs in the bar had taken longer than expected “but we will be back and better than ever just in time for the festive season”.
