Seanad tribute to late Cllr Anthony Waldron - “our dear, dear friend”

Meath Independent Senator Sharon Keogan paid a moving tribute in Seanad Éireann yesterday (Wednesday) to the late Ballintubber councillor Anthony Waldron, who she described as “our dear, dear friend”.
Cllr Waldron, who was 64, passed away suddenly on Sunday morning.
In the Seanad yesterday, Senator Keogan praised the late councillor's work on developing the Suck Valley Way and promoting tourism in County Roscommon.
She said he was “a fantastic local representative”.
Cllr Waldron will be laid to rest tomorrow in Aghamore cemetery following Funeral Mass in St. Brides Church, Ballintubber.
