Severe wind warning issued for County Roscommon

A severe weather wind warning has been issued by Met Éireann for the entire country, including County Roscommon.
A status Orange alert has been issued for Friday as Storm Éowyn approaches Ireland.
Some destructive winds will have gusts of up to 130km/h, with even higher gusts for a time.
The state forecaster is warning of fallen trees, damage to power lines and power outages.
There are also warnings of structural damage, very difficult travelling conditions, disruption and cancellations to transport.
The weather warning will be in place from Friday at 2 .am. until 5 p.m. that evening.
