Snow causes disruption across County Roscommon

Heavy snowfall in the Castlerea countryside this morning.
Six years after the infamous Beast from the East hit County Roscommon, the county has been, once again, hit by heavy snow overnight and this morning.
Travelling conditions across many routes, especially on secondary roads, remain treacherous.
Conditions are particularly bad in the east of the county around the Roosky and Strokestown areas.
The road between Scramogue and Roosky is partially blocked by a truck, as is the case on Church Street in Strokestown on the N5.
There are also reports of power outages in the Boyle, Carrick-on-Shannon and Castlerea areas.
Met Éireann has extended a Status Yellow snow/ice warning for the county until 12 noon.
