Tens of thousands of euro worth of equipment stolen from Ballinamore yard
The brand new ride-on power float that was taken.
Gardaí are investigating a major robbery where tens of thousands of euro worth of equipment was stolen from a yard in Ballinamore.
It’s believed that the theft took place at a yard in Edentenny in the early hours of Tuesday, July 15th, between the hours of 12 midnight and 6 a.m.
Among the items taken included a 2016 white Renault Master van (Registration: 161D 1594), a quad trailer holding a ride-on power-float, a Yamaha R6 motorbike, a chainsaw, a manual powerfloat, a cement mixer and a bowser power washer.
Several concrete finishing tools were also taken.
The stolen van is quite distinctive with white and red markings around the side and back as is some of the other equipment. The power float and trailer are brand new.
Gardaí are appealing for any sightings of the equipment and anyone who may have relevant cctv or dashcam footage is asked to contact Ballinamore or Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Stations.
