Three County Roscommon SPAR stores were honoured at the 2026 SPAR 365 Standards Customer Care Programme Awards for achieving exceptional standards in retailing.

The winning County Roscommon stores were SPAR Corrib Oil Carrick Road, Boyle, SPAR Corrib Oil Roscommon and SPAR Corrib Oil Castlerea.

The awards ceremony was held in Killashee Hotel, Naas and hosted by BWG Foods, owners and operators of the SPAR brand in Ireland.

The SPAR 365 Awards, held in association with independent bodies Solution Management Associates (SMA) and Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), recognise stores that have excelled across all areas of retail operations over the past year.

In winning these awards, the stores were independently assessed across a range of criteria including customer service through SMA as well as a food safety and hygiene audit conducted by LRQA. The retailers received their award in recognition of their commitment to implementing best practice store standards throughout their store, thereby providing an excellent customer experience to their local community.

Congratulating the winners, Colin Donnelly, SPAR sales director, said they were "incredibly proud of all our retailers and the exceptional service they provide to their communities and customers throughout Ireland. It is important to celebrate these wonderful ambassadors who bring the SPAR brand to life every day. Well done to all the winners from County Roscommon. Their efforts have been truly outstanding, and this recognition is very well-deserved."
