Tributes to Roscommon man (46) who hosted popular YouTube rock channel

Tributes have been paid following the passing of a Roscommon man who hosted a very popular YouTube heavy metal music channel.
Philip Keaveney, 1 Ard Coman, Henry Street, Roscommon passed away peacefully today, June 17th, surrounded by his loving family, and in the gentle professional care of the staff of Roscommon Hospice.
Many tributes have been paid following the passing of the 46-year-old music enthusiast.
One sympathiser said: “Rest in Power Phil....your passion & contribution to Irish Metal through your channel Burning Metal will never be forgotten.
"A unique character in our Irish scene and will greatly be missed by us all. Our thoughts are with your family & friends through these difficult next few days.”
Mr Keaveney is deeply regretted by his parents Margaret and Kieran, sister Ciara, niece Penelope, nephew Dexter, aunts, uncles, friends and relatives.
Reposing at his residence on Friday evening, June 19th from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.. Removal will take place on Saturday morning, June 20th at 10.30 a.m.. arriving for Funeral Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Roscommon at 11 a.m.
Cremation will take place afterwards at Lakelands Crematorium in Cavan.
