WATCH: ‘After years of waiting’ new childcare facility set to open its doors in Ballaghaderreen

A new childcare facility in Ballaghaderreen is getting ready to open its doors.

On Wednesday, June 10th an open evening will be held at the facility at The Shambles from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m..

As chairman of Roscommon Leader Partnership, local councillor Micheal Frain said that “after years of waiting” the facility was getting ready to open and he was “absolutely delighted to have played a part” in helping deliver this project for Ballaghaderreen.

“This has been a long journey, but it’s wonderful to finally see it become a reality for local children, parents, and families,” he said.

Sinn Féin Deputy Claire Kerrane said that it was “great to see such an important service opening in Ballaghaderreen. There are going to be so many happy memories made here”.

All are invited to the open evening on Wednesday, June 10th where information on the services will be available.
