Watch: GAA president sings 'The West's Awake' at Jimmy Murray Memorial weekend

Large crowds turned out on Sunday for the unveiling of the Jimmy Murray statue in his native Knockcroghery.
The centrepiece in a weekend of song and fun, the wonderful sculpture, by Mark Feeley, was unveiled by GAA President Jarlath Burns who led the audience in a rendition of one of the songs Jimmy was best known for.
‘Jamesie’ Murray, who passed away in January 2007, was captain of the Roscommon senior football teams which won All-Ireland SFC titles in 1943 and 1944.
