A Roscommon teenager has won a prestigious award for excellence in athletics. Emily Clyne of Reeside Athletics was named Athletics Ireland County Star Award Winner for County Roscommon.

A level crossing in the county has been chosen as one of the first in Ireland to be installed with a Garda Go Safe safety camera.
