This morning, Roscommon Herald photographer Liam Reynolds visited one of the many areas in West Roscommon that have been devastated by a raging wildfire.
The blaze has ravaged hundreds of acres of forestry and bogland.
An Irish Air Corps helicopter has now been called in to help tackle areas that are still smouldering and burning.
