WATCH: Roscommon ambulance service personnel say ‘enough is enough'

Roscommon ambulance service personnel are on the picket line today, Tuesday, at Roscommon University Hospital and at ambulances bases in Loughglynn and Boyle.
They have said ‘enough is enough’ as they joined about 2,000 HSE ambulance service workers nationwide in a 24-hour strike over pay.
From 8 a.m. this morning, workers took pickets at ambulance bases across the county.
Workers say that the dispute started over 15 years ago when they were promised pay rises that never came.
An independent report six years ago, the McHugh/Crabtree Report, hasn't, they say been implemented at all. They are calling for that report to be implemented as soon as possible and they want all outstanding matters dealt with so they can move forward.
* The ambulance staff on picket today have thanked the following for their supports: Gleeson's Restaurant, Roscommon; Deputy Claire Kerrane; Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice; Emo Filling Station, Roscommon; Roscommon University Hospital canteen staff; Hannon's Hotel and donations from public.
