On Sunday, 9th March 2025, Soulful Success: A Reset for Female Founders will bring together local businesswomen for a refreshingly different kind of get-together. Organised in celebration of International Women’s Day, the event takes place at the welcoming CoreFettle Pilates studio and has been crafted to help female founders and entrepreneurs briefly step away from the frantic pace of business life.
Behind this initiative are three women who each bring a distinct perspective on well-being and community. Gillian Carroll, the driving force behind CoreFettle, spent over a decade in London’s busiest fitness studios before opening her own space in Carrick-on-Shannon.
At Soulful Success, she’ll highlight the benefits of Pilates and gentle movement for busy women who rarely get a moment to breathe. “I’ve seen firsthand how even a short session can ground the mind and body,” Carroll explains. “I hope participants will see that movement doesn’t have to be extreme to be transformative.”
Katie Diffley, a marketing consultant and agency founder at Rebel Rising (also serving as Leitrim Club Ambassador for The Club Women’s Network), is passionate about helping business owners find the right balance between ambition and self-care. “It’s all too easy to bury ourselves in constant work without pausing to check in on our own needs,” says Diffley. “With Soulful Success, we want to create a calm, nurturing space where women can re-energise, share insights, and remember why they started their businesses in the first place.”
Rounding out the hosting trio is Michelle Filan of Next Level Coaching, a health and wellness coach from Mayo who has overcome major personal health challenges, including open brain surgery. Her experiences have taught her the power of mindfulness and mindset in everyday life, a message she now shares through her programmes on building resilience, confidence, and healthy habits.
This event is part of a broader effort by The Club Women’s Network, founded by Sian Horn, to create ongoing communities where women professionals can offer each other encouragement, business know-how, and lasting friendships. “We don’t want Soulful Success to be a fleeting moment,” explains Diffley. “We want women to follow up, stay in touch, and keep each other accountable for personal and business growth.”
Soulful Success: A Reset for Female Founders welcomes female founders, business owners, and leaders from Leitrim and beyond. Tickets for the event, which runs on Sunday, 9th March 2025, can be purchased on Eventbrite or through The Club Women’s Network website.
