All roads will lead to St. Patrick’s Church, Glenamaddy on Sunday, December 3rd for a Roscommon Solstice Choir concert.
The concert is part of a fundraiser for the replacement of some of the barges in the church.
Glenamaddy man PJ Davis, a familiar voice in Glenamaddy church, is a member of the 100 strong choir.
Special guest on the night will be the man with the golden trumpet Johnny Carroll.
Both the choir and Johnny Carroll have entertained people almost worldwide. There will also be contributions from Glenamaddy Church senior and junior choirs.
With the festive season nearly upon us, the choir, together with Johnny, will be performing many familiar Christmas Carols.
There will be a raffle on the night with some very nice prizes to be won.
Tickets for the concert are now on sale for €15 plus a booking fee and can be purchased online from Eventbritetarget="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">. The Glenamaddy Church Fundraising Committee has put a huge amount of effort into the planning and the organising of this event. St. Patrick’s Church, Glenamaddy relies almost entirely on voluntary donations. Thanks to all those who contribute to the church annually and to the people and businesses who have already donated so generously to this fundraiser to pay for the cost of the repairs to the barges.
