Liverpool have agreed a €123.8 million deal with Paris St Germain for forward Bradley Barcola, the Press Association understands.

The Reds have agreed to pay a basic £106 million for the France international and up to an extra £17 million in potential add-ons.

The 23-year-old is now expected to undergo a medical in the coming days, with a view to completing a move to Anfield before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

Barcola, a member of the PSG squad that has won back-to-back Champions League titles, has been the Merseyside club’s top target throughout the summer.

PSG had initially wanted £145 million for the player, which was more than Liverpool were willing to pay, but there was a breakthrough in negotiations earlier this week.

Barcola, who scored three goals at this summer’s World Cup, joined PSG from Lyon in a £38.6 million deal in 2023.
