Changes to Roscommon LGFA executive following AGM

There are a number of changes to the Roscommon LGFA executive for 2024 following its AGM earlier this week.

Declan Walsh from Roscommon Gaels is the new chairperson, while Yvonne Donohue, also from Roscommon Gaels, is the new treasurer.

A number of outgoing officers did not seek re-election, meaning that there are still a number of vacancies to be filled.

The following officers were ratified on Tuesday evening: Chairperson, Declan Walsh (Roscommon Gaels); Vice-Chairperson, Pat Heneghan (Michael Glaveys); Assistant Secretary, Tara Flynn (Pádraig Pearses); Treasurer, Yvonne Donohoe (Roscommon Gaels); Assistant Treasurer, Sinead Osgood (Michael Glaveys); Registrar, Clare Flynn (St. Faithleach’s); Central Council delegates, Sharon Ryan (St. Croan’s), Martina Keenan (Castlerea St. Kevin’s), Grace O’Brien (St. Brigid’s); Cultural and Language Officer, Maureen Sharkey (Roscommon Gaels); Connacht Council delegates, Rosaleen Timothy (St. Croan’s), Pat Heneghan (Michael Glaveys); Children’s Officer, Niamh Manning (Castlerea St. Kevin’s); Fixtures, Cormac McNally (St. Dominic’s), Jim Millar (St. Ciaran’s), Aoife Coyle (St. Brigid’s).
