Connacht GAA releases fixtures for provincial club football and hurling championships

The winners of this year’s Roscommon senior football championship will face a Connacht club quarter-final against the Sligo champions, Connacht GAA has confirmed.
It will be a home game for the new Fahey Cup holders on the weekend of November 8th and 9th, with the winners facing a Connacht semi-final against the Galway or Leitrim champions, who meet in the other quarter-final, a week later.
The final is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 29th.
In the provincial intermediate football championship, the holders of the Jamesie Murray Cup will play either the Galway or Mayo winners in a semi-final on the weekend of November 21st/22nd, with the final pencilled in for Saturday, November 28th.
The county’s Junior A football championship representatives will face the Mayo champions in a quarter-final on November 7th/8th, with the winners facing the Leitrim winners in the semi-final on November 21st/22nd. The final is scheduled for December 5th/6th.
The winners of the Roscommon senior hurling championship will face their Mayo counterparts in the AIB Connacht Club Championship quarter-final on the weekend of October 31st/November 1st at King and Moffatt Dr. Hyde Park.
Last season, St. Brigid's and Strokestown were crowned provincial club senior and intermediate football champions respectively.
