County Roscommon brothers share championship stage for first time

Three County Roscommon brothers were on the same championship starting 15 for their club on Friday evening.
It was the first time that Colm, Jarlath and Ciaráin Lavin lined out in the same championship game for the Éire Óg intermediate footballers during their club’s 14-point victory against St. Croan’s in Ballinlough on Friday evening.
Former Roscommon goalkeeper Colm, who is the Éire Óg captain, was between the sticks, while Jarlath was right corner-back and Ciaráin was full-back.
While the Éire Óg forwards impressed during their 1-21 to 1-9 victory, it was certainly a case of "1, 2, 3 on the podium" for the popular Lavin siblings, who hail from Lisacul.
