The victorious All-Ireland winning Roscommon intermediate ladies' football panel will return to County Roscommon on Sunday evening.

The team will bring the Mary Quinn Cup across the River Shannon in Athlone at approximately 9 p.m. before moving onto Knockcroghery at 9.20 p.m..

A tour of Roscommon Town is planned for 9.45 p.m. before the bus will stop off in Hannon's Hotel at 10 p.m. where the players and management are sure to be greeted by hundreds of supporters.

Roscommon defeated Fermanagh by 2-12 to 0-6 in Croke Park to win the intermediate championship for the first time since 2005.
