Clann na nGael are back in the Roscommon Ladies' senior final and will face St. Brigid's as the two sides booked their places in the final with convincing wins over St. Dominic's and Éire Óg respectively.

Clann ran out 3-10 to 2-5 winners against Dominic's in Johnstown, with goals coming from Roise Lennon, Karla Earle and Ruth Finlass.

The home team scored freely in the first half, backed by a strong breeze, but Dominic's kept in touch with two goals courtesy of Aoife Gavin and Hannah Murray to leave them trailing 1-8 to 2-1 at half time.

Scores dried up in the second half, and Dominic's could not capitalise on their numerical advantage when Finlass was sin binned, only scoring two points.

Earle got her goal in the 55th minute as Clann scored 1-2 in added time, Finlass sealing the deal with a goal from the penalty spot.

Meanwhile, Brigid's continued their impressive unbeaten run in this year's championship, racking up 22 scores in a 2-20 to 0-5 win over Éire Óg in Kiltoom.

Backed by a swirling breeze, Brigid's kicked six points in the opening 10 minutes. Éire Óg were put under more pressure as Nicola Bruen was sent to the sin bin two minutes later.

Éire Óg goalkeeper, Lily Vickers, who made numerous crucial saves, saved Marian Nolan's penalty in the 17th minute, but Nolan, who finished with 1-5, made up for it with a goal in the final minute of the half as Brigid's went in 1-11 to 0-2 up at the half.

The second half continued in a similar vein, with Áine O'Brien getting an early second-half goal. The Brigid's bench contributed five points as they closed out the game.

Following a county board meeting last week, the final has been fixed for Saturday, September 28th.
