The St. Croan’s intermediate ladies’ football panel have rowed in behind their former team-mate Richael Timothy as she begins her Paralympic Games schedule in Paris at noon on Thursday (today).

The team swapped the blue of Croan’s for the green of Ireland at a recent training session to show their support for Richael.

A former player with the club, Richael was a selector with the team that won the Roscommon LGFA Junior A championship in 2022.

Richael commences her quest for a medal just before noon on Thursday when she takes part in qualifying for the C1-3, 3,000 metres individual pursuit at the spectacular velodrome in Paris, scheduled for 11.58 a.m..

Should the Ballymoe native qualify, she could be involved in medal races late today.
