It has been a very good week for the Roscommon U-16 and minor ladies’ football teams following championship victories against Galway and Leitrim respectively.

The minor ladies’ team defeated Leitrim by 3-23 to 1-4 in Strokestown on Wednesday evening.

Meanwhile, the county U-16 girls’ football team made it three wins from three with a terrific 3-10 to 1-8 victory against Galway in Corofin.

They will put their unbeaten record on the line against Mayo next week.
