A former Roscommon senior footballer has taken up a player/manager role with his native club.
Conor Devaney, who confirmed his retirement from intercounty action in January 2023, has taken up the reins in Kilbride for the upcoming season.
He has drafted the experienced Liam Tully, who led the Roscommon U-20 football team to the 2021 All-Ireland final, into his management team.
Devaney made 117 appearances in total for the Roscommon senior footballers, scoring 14-108. He was also part of the county minor football team that tasted All-Ireland glory in 2006.
