GAA legends to gather in Ballaghaderreen to remember late John O’Mahony

The late John O'Mahony will be remembered at this year's Ballaghaderreen Arts Festival.

A stellar line-up of GAA greats has been assembled to remember the late John O’Mahony at this year’s Ballaghaderreen Arts Festival in August.

“A Life Lived on the Line” will reflect on the legacy of the All-Ireland winning manager and the future of Gaelic football in St. Nathy’s College, Ballaghaderreen, on Friday, August 8th.

The evening will be hosted by RTÉ Gaelic Games correspondent Marty Morrissey.

Among the special guests will be Galway senior football manager Pádraic Joyce; Armagh boss Kieran McGeeney; former Roscommon senior football captain and manager, Fergal O’Donnell; former Leitrim footballer Declan Darcy; former Kerry footballer Marc Ó Sé; former Mayo and Donegal footballer Martin Carney; current Galway footballer John Maher; current Mayo and Ballaghaderreen footballer, David McBrien and GAA pundit, Tommy Rooney.

The event is being hosted as part of this year’s Ballaghaderreen Arts Festival, which takes place between August 2nd and 10th.
