Roscommon will face neighbours, Leitrim, in this year’s TG4 All-Ireland intermediate ladies’ football quarter-finals at the end of the month.
The game will be a repeat of the recent Connacht final between the sides in Kiltoom, which Leitrim won by 3-12 to 0-19.
Michelle Guckian, Ailbhe Clancy and Muireann Devaney scored Leitrim’s goals, while Aimee O’Connor kicked 0-10 for Roscommon, including seven points from play.
Since then, Leitrim have beaten Tyrone and Wicklow to top their group in the All-Ireland Series. In their group, Roscommon lost out narrowly to Wexford before easily getting the better of Antrim.
The game will take place at a Leitrim venue, most likely Ballinamore, on Sunday, June 30th. The winners will face the winners of the quarter-final between Wexford and Westmeath in the last four.
