St. Nathy’s College Ballaghaderreen has claimed a Connacht title.

The school’s U-15 girls' soccer team won the Connacht Division Three title with a defeat over Gort Community School 3-0 at the Athlone Town Stadium.

Ciara McCann bagged a brace while Sadhbh Dillon also found the net in the victory.

This is a busy time on the sporting front for St. Nathy’s as the school's LGFA Junior C team have progressed to a Connacht final.

The Ballaghaderreen school will face off against St. Attracta’s Community School this evening in the Connacht Post Primary Schools' Senior B semi-final at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence (throw in 7.30 p.m.).
